Honestly, I don't even need the graham cracker, just give me some slightly melted, hot chocolate along with a marshmallow or two, and I'll be happy. The hot, slightly melted chocolate perfectly compliments the sweet, fluffy marshmallow. Are you drooling yet?

Sour cream and onion flavored chips are my shit. I could down an entire tube of Pringles in one sitting. I don't know what it is, but it's an amazing flavor combination.

11 Asian Snacks Everyone Should Try

The best treats are Asian.

As a half-Asian raised in Hawaii, and living on and off in Thailand, I've had more than my fair share of Asian snacks. Some aren't so good, but other's are totally fire. If you happen to be traveling to Asia - or just happen to be near a Chinatown or an Asian grocery store - you should pick some of these snacks up.

You won't regret it.

1. Glico Pocky & Pretz.
If you haven't tried these before, you've been seriously missing out. Pocky is a sweet snack consisting of a perfectly thin biscuit covered in some kind of chocolate glaze. Pocky comes in a variety of flavors including milk chocolate, strawberry - my personal favorite -, cookies and cream, and even almond.

If you prefer your snacks on the savory side try Pretz instead. It's a version of Pocky that only includes the flavored biscuit and comes in flavors like pizza.

2. Taro.
No, I'm not talking about the root vegetable. These savory snacks will take some time to get used to, but they're totally worth it. Made out of dried fish - yum! - these thin strips have an ocean-y quality that will leave you smelling bad, but feeling good.

3. White Rabbit.
Imagine a saltless version of taffy with a subtle milky-vanilla flavor. That's White Rabbit. These candies are essentially the only way my mom could shut me up as a kid (they require a lot of chewing) and I think they took out at least two of my baby teeth.

While there are over a dozen White Rabbit flavors, including lychee, mango, and matcha, the best is definitely vanilla, which sorta reminds me of drinking a warm glass of milk.

4. Hello Panda.
Besides being utterly adorable, these creme filled cookies are also crazy delicious. The biscuits are shaped like bears and also include little drawings with pandas on them. With three flavors, including chocolate, strawberry and vanilla, you're sure to find a panda for you.

5. Nongshim Shrimp Crackers.
Put down the sour cream and onion potato chips and start chowing down on these instead. With the perfect hint of shrimp, these crispy crackers will become your new go-to snack.

6. Yan Yan.
These are basically the Asian version of Dunkaroos. The box is split into two compartments, one for the biscuit sticks and one for the flavored frosting. From there you dip as you please - as a kid I would only get through two biscuits before I used all the frosting.

While eating Yan Yan you also have the chance to learn; the crackers are covered in fun animal facts!

7. Hi-Chew.
American parents used to reprimand their kids if they swallowed gum while the Japanese found a way to make it edible. This is maybe one of the most famous Asian snack brands to-date.

With countless flavors and new additions rolling out yearly, this ooey-gooey candy is sure to please anyone who tries it.

8. Wasabi peas.
Forget salted peanuts, wasabi peas are the bar snack of the future. With a spicy kick from the Japanese wasabi, this snack is the perfect pick-me-up when you're feeling down.

Plus, it manages to make peas, which are arguably the worst vegetable, taste delicious.

9. Tao Kae Noi Seaweed Snacks.
This is nothing like the seaweed you'd find on your sushi rolls. Tao Kae Noi has a bunch of different seaweed snacks with various flavors and levels of spiciness, and as a Thai brand you can bet your ass that they're actually spicy.

10. Lychee Jelly.
I can't even begin to explain how important these were to me as a kid. I practically used them as a form of currency on the playground. The delicious jellies were loaded with fruity flavor and even had chunks of real lychee in them. Take thatI, Kraft.

11. Yakult.
A popular children's drink, this yogurt-based beverage is also a great probiotic - aka, it makes you poo. With a slightly sweet and sour flavor, you won't be able to stop chugging down all the bottles you can get your hands on.

The Realistic College Summer Diet

For the fresher you.

When I returned from nine months of eating pasta, pizza, gelato and cannolis on the daily, I wound up donating nearly all my shorts and pants, because they wouldn't fit over my butt.

Shocker. 'Freshman fifteen?' More like 'Florence fifty.'

While I was away, I wasn't happy with my appearance (who ever really is?), but I was not going to sacrifice the tantalizing European cuisine. I told myself I would enjoy the food while I could and return to a healthy exercise and eating plan when States-bound.

I researched diets on Pinterest and wrote out strict workout schedules to help me drop some of the weight I inevitably gained. VS Model Bod, here I come was my mentality.

I've been home for just over a month now, and I have miraculously lost 15 pounds within that short time frame. However, it didn't happen the way I anticipated it to. I didn't pay any attention to the diets or workout routines I picked.

Instead, I found my own diet: trying not to eat anything that comes out of a plastic bag in addition to exercising when I can.

I'd call this diet "The Realistic College Summer Diet."

Eating food that doesn't come out of a plastic bag (a habit I picked up in Italy due to their presence of munchies at the smaller grocery stores) is not as hard as one might think. It involves indulging in lots of fresh fruits and vegetables which replaces Cheezits, Lays and Goldfish. Avoiding preservatives has become a priority, and the results have me feeling much better about myself and my diet.

I also haven't been eating as much red meat. I gravitate more towards fish, chicken, pork, beans and nuts to get my protein fix. In addition, I stray away from the sodas and juices, sticking mainly to water, tea and coffee.

As for the exercise, it really comes down to timing.

I work eight hours per day five days a week. Sometimes I don't have the energy at the end of the day to work out, and sometimes the weather just doesn't cooperate. If you miss a day, don't stress out. Yes, you should always try to find time to exercise throughout the day, but obsessing over a tight workout schedule isn't going to make you any more fit.

Most people have their own views on how to be a healthy eater or maintaining a 'balanced diet.' Some work better for others. But if you're looking to try a new style of eating this summer, try this one. It's very easy to follow, and you don't have to think much about it.

Your local farmers' market will be your new go-to. It's nearly impossible to stay away from some sweets, so don't be too hard on yourself. An ice cream cone, a Sex on the Beach or a chocolate bar once in awhile isn't going to kill you.

Try eating as fresh as you can and keeping a positive attitude. You'd be surprised how far it'll get you.

Here are some food ideas to get you started:

Salads: there's a plethora of combinations with vegetables, cheeses, protein, dressings, etc.
Snacks: carrots, dried fruit, nuts, celery with peanut butter, baked apples with cinnamon.
Yogurt parfaits: fresh fruit, granola, Greek yogurt, honey.
Toast: avocado on toasted bread from the farmers' market with a sunny side egg on top? A layer of peanut butter topped with sliced bananas and raisins on toast? Hellz yes!
Smoothies: what's in your green machine?
Dinners: roasted vegetables with garlic, rice or couscous and grilled salmon.
